Collection agency calling me - is that harrassment?

I have this collection agency calling me, and I think the man on the other end of the phone was extremely rude! I have bills like everybody else, and I'm a bit behind schedule...however, that's no reason to call me up be rude.

Can you let me know if...

colletion agencies are always so rude, or am I just unlucky?

i also am behind, like everyone. i get the same thing, calls morning and night, they are very rude! i just hang up! i read the site that was given to you, good info. so remember your not alone!!! good luck!

i once had to do telemarketing for a small time job...i was def. not rude to people and respected their answers...there is no need for them to get nasty or rude...take it a step higher to company

report them to Attorney General office and Federal Trade Commission

Pay your bill! Obviously someone has realized that your not intending to pay your bill. I am on the recieving end of customers not paying. When you are ignored and the customer refuses to explain himself to you and continues to lie, what else is there to do?
