OK so I was wondering if it hurted to get your cavities fixed... Because I heard for the doc to fix your cavities he had to drill of the cavitie then fill in your tooth with porceilin or however you spell it... So does it hurt because I have a few I want fixed before they get worse...

I would ask around for a Dentist recommendation - some are better at minimizing pain - making it a much better experience...Take care !!

Ask others for a dentist that handles young kids or timid patients. Personal recommendations are a great way to find a dentist that you will feel comfortable with.

Please get those cavities taken care of. If you don't, I absolutely guarentee that you are going to face a LOT of misery when the cavities get out of control, then you may face root canals, extractions, etc. Those are even more pain and a LOT more money. This is from experience!!
Good Luck!!

The worst part for me is the SOUND so I take my MP3 with me and just chill, and if your dentist is good it won't hurt when he/she numbs you, that way you won't feel it but yea forsure take some music with you. . .

The last one I had done didn't hurt at all. The one before that hurt for a tiny bit, for a very short while. The noise is scary, though, so an MP3 is a really good idea!

There are two factors that determine how much discomfort you will experience:
How close they have to drill to the nerve, and the skill of the dentist.

The longer you put it off the worse it wil be. Ask your friends who their favorite dentist is and get it taken care of!
