Can i make my hip bones smaller by doing this?

Well I know that by wearing something (like a belt) right below your boobs makes you smaller there. Well thats what I was told anyways. I was curious if it would it work the same way to wear something on your hip bones?

you cant make BONES smaller
people who put a belt under there boobs arnt making there bones any smaller
there bones stay the same
it does however define the area more and makes you appear smaller up there
bottom line is you cant change your bones
you cant make the bigger or smaller
only genetics and puberty will determine that
