California weather and small dog.

Is my little dog safe with this horribly cold weather or should I run a space heater for her while I am gone? I can't believe how cold it has been. I hope it ends soon.

Better to run a space heater or similar for your dog to make sure it doesn't get too cold. Smaller dogs have less fat to insulate them from the weather, and the poor thing could get sick.

I dont think you need to run a heater because animals are good at keeping warm and that might dehydrate your dog incase it gets too warm to him, all your dog needs is a nice thick blanket and u can put a hot water bottle under neath it if want.
