How do you know if your toe is broken?

it may be swollen or blue.
if it is dreadfully painful to move it then it may be broken..
put some ice on it...
and alternate
a warm rag 15 minutes
and ice 15 minutes.
but be sure to wrap the ice in a towel or something it is not good to have that on your bareskin
