Afraid to post a video on youtube

I got American Idol Encore (a karaoke game), and my friend came over. She had heard me sing when I was younger, and while we were playing the game, I was singing tainted love. when we stopped, she’s like, “omgosh your a really good singer now!! you should post a video on youtube!” I thought about it, and I was just going to record myself singing but just have some kind of background. But then I recorded myself just talking, and on a camera I have a whole new voice..I have yet to record myself singing because I don’t want my mom to hear and joke about it, so I’m waiting until I’m home alone one day. But a lot of people use harsh comments on youtube and I don’t know if I’m really that good…So should I post the video on youtube?

I think you should, If you actually want to sing on youtube. Some videos are pointless but sometimes funny and full of diffrent talent, so that shouldnt be worse than singing on youtube. If you just dont like it or if people post harsh comments you could always remove the video. Just go for it! Good Luck. yea I think you should go for it… plus most people are nice on youtube actually, but if theyre not just ignore them… you can even delete their comments if you want. Me and my friend have heard every youtube insult known to mankind btw, and have been cussed out in 4 different languages!
