That’s YOUR choice. But if you do decide to get your lip pierced, DON’T do it yourself… get it done PROFESSIONALLY. You’ll regret it if you do it yourself, that’s just plain stupid and is just asking for complications.

I wouldn’t recomend it. Honestly it hurt me badly enough when I got it numbed and pierced professionally! Not to mention the high risk of infection. If you really want to do it yourself go careful, sterilise the bar and needle and keep it clean!

I had my lip pierced (the labret, middle bit) and it did not hurt at all, I was 14 and my lip got numbed and he just popped it though with no problems, you must keep it clean for the first month, but since I’ve grown up abit now, I have taken it out, it has not fully healed over but it doesn’t leave a big hole like everyone thinks it will. but hat is for your knowledge, and yeah it is your choice.
