Yeast Infection?

Missy L here… Great, I probably have a yeast infection, but I’m not sure. And I hate going to the doctor’s strickly because they give me needles. If I go to get a check up to make sure I don’t have a yeast infection, will they stab me to find out? And if I do, will they stab me if I do…you know, to get rid of it?

Answer #1

no, they don’t need to give you a needle to see if you have a yeast infection all they have to do is look at it or take a swab sample if you have yellow discharge and it smells different down there and its very itchy and sore and red and hurts to pee its a yeast infection they can just prescribe you a pill or cream or you can go to a chemist and buy them yourself without a prescription as well but it would be best to go to the doctor first to find out if you do have a yeast infection

Lol… No, nobody needs to “stab” you to determine if you have a yeast infection. Nor will they if you do! Lol They’ll probably do a pap–u tell them your symptoms, they’ll probably ask if you have been having unprotected sex routinely (to rule out STD’s) and send you our with a prescription for a cream to treat the infection or maybe Diflucan which is a pill you swallow. I can almost guarantee you will not be “stabbed” by anyone. Good luck! ><
