What is wrong with my guinea pig?
he is scratching most of his hair out and going bald!:o and he has dandruff or something :S do i take him to the vets
It could be mites….there are treatments at the pet store, but I recommend bringing him to the vet for a proper diagnosis and effective treatment (pet store treatments don’t always work).
Could be mites, a skin allergy, an infection on his skin, stress/hot spots. Colleen is right, finding a ‘small animal vet’ is the best way to find out.
