would you prefer a non diamond engagement ring?

my boyfriend didnt get me a real one. but it doesnt really matter if it is or not to me.. thats just what I think…but I no girls that are really big into the whole dimond thing so I dont no..

My engagement ring is premium rhinestone :) I wouldn’t have it any other way. I refused a diamond for a few reasons.

1. I would always be afraid of it getting lost or stolen
2. There are far more important things to spend that money on
3. I don’t attach myself to material things

As far as engagement rings go, it’s only a symbol and it doesn’t need to be expensive or elaborate. The marriage won’t fail just because your engagement ring is a dud. So would you rather have the big, expensive ring, or the fairy tale wedding? ‘Cause unless your man is wealthy, you only get one.

the ring dosnt really matter.the only thing that would matter to me is if the guy truly loves you.

I would like a dimond one better only because you hope to get married only once and you want it to look specialx
