Would this be successful ?

I was wondering, from the wide variety of people I know, each person has either an Xbox 360 or a PS3 the similar games, but we cannot play online beacuse its not possible, or even 1 on 1 together cause its not fun as one is used to Xbox or Ps3, so what if there was a creation of such a software/hardware where The Ps3 and Xbox can play games online together ? Would this be a successful product ?
