Do we have a word which has stress on second and third syllable?

Answer #1

I know none in English.

German words usually have stress on the first or first and third syllable, few exceptions exist. Though German compound nouns usually have emphasis like each single element of the compound would have.

French usually has stress on the second OR third syllable. Sometimes even on the fourth. But I cannot think of any single French word that stresses both, the second AND the third syllable.

I don’t know sufficient Spanish to answer your question for Spanish. I just know that Spanish speakers in English language TV production usually have a habit of stressing every syllable of every single word they say.

Answer #2

Lots. They are often verbs, eg preSENT, deCIDE, aBIDE, colLIDE, beGIN. There are multi syllable words with the second syllable stressed, (eg toMAto, inDUStrial) or the final syllable stressed (personNEL).
