What is a 'wings' ring from the Marines?
A guy I have been talking to sent me his ring.. He said he got it while in Thailand. It’s gold, and has wings across the band, an anchor, and a globe.. (EGA)… But it has ‘’AC’’ in the middle.. what does AC mean? He’s asleep and I don’t wanna bother him.. but it’s bugging me lol :)
The emblem of the core is the globe, eagle and and anchor…the ‘AC’ could be something personal or maybe ‘aircrew’? I believe the the emblem for Marine Aviators is different, something like a globe and anchor with wings as opposed to a perched eagle. I’m not really sure, though, i could be totally off- you might have to just ask him lol.
