Will A PS1 controller work

I read here that a Playstation 2 controller can be used on a PS3 if you have an adapter. But would this work with a PS1 anolog controller?

You can try a PS1 controller, but I highly recomend that you don’t, you see a PS3 is far more advanced then a PS1 so it might not work, I recomend you try a PS2 controller instead

dont know but its not worth the headache dont know why you dont have a p3 controller but you need to break down and buy the one that rumbles
