Why? We Broke Up, and Now what?

Ugh, kay so I need some help. I are E A L L Y liked this guy, and then we dated. If you read my other questions, you’d know the entire story. Well long-story short.. we RANDOMLY broke up. And I told him that I still like him. So I said, maybe once we become better friends, we can come back to this.. And he told me, “yeah, I was thinking the same thing, and we can come back to this sometime.” So I still like him, but these past 2 weeks have been TORTURE. I go to an Arts School.. Competitive, and there aren’t ANY guys there.. like 85 - 90 % Girls, so there is a lot for a guy. And he seems to be kinda liked a lot.

But my main question would be. . Why would he not talk to me for the week after we broke up, and then all of a sudden be EVERYWHERE I am. I mean, we have the same friends, but before, he’d hang out with others.. but lately (past week) everywhere I turn, he’s there.. staring at me. And I will notice him starring at me.. so I will look at him, in the eyes.. and he WONT look away. He also teases me, and talks to me.. but I don’t know.. And he always hugs and touches other girls, and sometimes my guy friends for fun, but he STARES AT ME.. even sometimes from across the calfateria. . So I just wanna know.. what’s the deal?

I am usually good with this kinda stuff.. but I am not sure about this …
