Why should we use the metric system in science?

Answer #1

Because the metric system uses units of 10’s to measure which makes things simple. Conversions to the English system are a nightmare when you start talking about in depth formulas or measurements like in physics, engineering, and such.

It can be done using the English system, it’s just more “clunky”.
