Why is my email doing this?

I’m on Google and I’m using the newer version and the little box that says chat is there but my contacts that have Gmail aren’t there like where you can chat with them. What can I do to get this thing to come up?

Sounds like it’s not loading right, and that’s either a problem with your internet connection or their server.

Contact them on their boards and see if it’s a known bug :)
