Why google do not have answer service?

Why is google being such a good site do not provide question and answers services to its users?

They had google answers…professional, paid for answers that you could purchase from a team of registered experts. However, given how popular free answers services became, they shut it down.

Considering that Google provides instant access to an enormous percentage of the entire collection of recorded human history and knowledge, one would have to stretch the definitions of ‘question’ and ‘answer’ to their breaking point to agree with you. All you have to do is do a little research yourself.

I don’t think it’s meant to be a question and answer website, it’s mainly a search engine.
