Why does shakira have a deep noise when she sings sometimes?

Sometime when I hear shakira sing she makes this deep nosie that goes along with her singing why is this? Do you know? Do you wonder the same thing I do? Anyways if you know or have a reasonable or non-reasonable answer let me know kay? Alright.

I noticed too! I have always wondered that, even tho im not a fan of her! it sounds like that deep noise is coming from the back of her throat lol. sorry, I dont have an answer for why that happens, just thought I would comment on it haha

I am not familiar with Shakira, but some singers are able to produce a harmonic as they sing. The ones I have heard tend to be a deeper hum or buzz that goes with the tune.
