Why does my sims3 play in stop and slow motion and drag?
When I turn on the game the intro runs at normal speed. When I run my game it stops, stalls and in general goes in very slow motion, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalled. I turned all graphics etc. down as low as they will go but the results are the same. Plus I only have one city to play and can’t find out how to go directly to build mode.
if its sluggish your system cant handle it…
cpu isnt fast enough, memory isnt fast enough or you dont have enough of it… take your pick ;)
as the game loads im guessing your gpu is ok but do you have the most upto date driver installed?
im not saying that a updated driver will solve the proplem but it might..
I was using the ATI 10.1 but it kept bsod on me so I went back to the 9.12 <– the purpose of me writing that is just to show that a update isnt always the fix :)
I had the exact same problem as your facing with the original alien vs predator over 10 years ago on my windows ME system… I was running a geforce 420mx (I think) lol and a upgrade to the 460 solved the sluggish prob ;)
you need a upgrade mate… and I cant tell you 100% if its your cpu, ram or gpu, sorry..
