Why do guys do this?

Ok so this isnt the first time this has happened. My boyfriend and I had sex last night and then tonight when we hung out stuff started happening we were messing around and everything he got up and got a condom. Then I told him to make sure his parents were asleep so he went downstairs to check and that took him like 5 minutes then when he came back down nothing happened. we kissed a couple times but that was it. he said his parents were asleep but all of a sudden he was out of the mood or something.. I want to know if its me or if this just sometimes happens :(

its not you. he was probably ploanning to have sex but he might of changed his mind or his parent were awake and he wasnt going to tell you. that or he just didnt want to do it with them in the house
