why do fans chase there favorite stars?

why when a lot of people see there favorite singers or actors why do they chase them and sometimes cry. I never really got that. whenever I see my favorite singers I’m calm and just tell them they were awesome on stage and 2 rockon. I don’t scream jump around stuff like that when I see my favorite singers why do people do that if the celebs are normal people just like us.

because sum people are psychopaths and cant control themselves. when I saw beyonce backstage we were all like just talking and stuff because there was only 2 other people with passes and security had 2 take them and beyonce and I had a good laugh she said I was her fav fan!!! (no offense to any psychopathic star chasers lol!)
