Why did this guy say this?

I made the stupidest mistake ever made with sleeping one of my old guy friends. I didn’t really like him and I was just curious so I let him sleep with me. It was all fine until after the sex, he decided to insult me by telling me why I don’t have a boy friend. It was none of his business yet he was telling me how to ‘improve my looks’ even though I don’t think there is anything wrong with the way I look. So anyway I told him that I was uninterested in a committed relationship. He then for some reason was telling me that was a bad idea and I shouldn’t live that way (even though hes doing the same eact thing?). It makes no sense and I don’t know why he would tell me this? Then finally he told me that we shouldn’t hang out anymore and told me goodbye. Why did he give me that lecture? and was he serious about the goodbye?

Men are really weird, I mean that has never ever happened to me, but if you think logical reasons, he could have been wanting to lower someone else because he doesn’t like his life, or he could have been high or drunk, I really have no straight answer but don’t listen to anything he says and do not lose self confidence I have seen it happen so many times when boys tell girls they could look nicer!! I am sure it is not goodbye but why would you want to see him again anyway! If you need anyone to alk to I am here!

there are a few different options 1 he likes you or wants to keep getting it so he wants to make you look better to have something better than his hand. 2 He knows that him being not in a real relationship causes problems but does not have the will power to go the hard road.
3 He may like you but he is more worried about what his friends think than to not do what they tell him or have him live by what they think.
