Why can't we go out alone?

My girlfriend and I have been going out for a year and her mom won’t let us go alone on dates. I haven’t done anything wrong and she has been begging her mom but it’s still a no:( I think after a year we should be able too. So what do you guys think? Is it fair? What can I do to change it?

Extra: we’ve only kissed no makeout, my parents don’t really mind cause they know we won’t like have sex in the movies, we are both 14, we love eachother.

The reason why you girls mom don’t let yall go out to dates alone is because you to are both young and especially if you girlfriend is the only girl or the youngest that makes it worst the best I could tell you is to just wait I’m 16 and I still can’t go on date neither aloneand it sucks so the best thing to do is just wait and respect you mother in law lol..
