Why are my periods not occuring??

Hi I have been only having my period 2-4 times a year, for quite a long time . This started after I went on BC called Depo the needle when I was 16, I had a child when I was 19 and only had my period for 4 days after birth then it started to lessen to the point where it only occurs 2-4 times a year…Then in May of this year I found out I was pregnant only to miscarry 1 week later and never got my period yet..took tests and they came out negative…what is wrong with me..anyone
