I've been getting mixed facts on Cannabis, I've been wondering just how harmful it is to the average individual. Also, I've read that weed contains carcinogens, not the weed itself but the smoke produced from burning plant matter.
So can someone clarify me on this? What exactly does weed do the average person and does the smoke from it contain carcinogens?
I am not sure if cannabis contains carcinogens, it is possible, all smoke tends to be carcinogenous, it is apparently good for glaucoma, my father suffered from glaucoma and heard of this, but he did not want to take mind-altering substances although he was very interested in their effects, and we used to discuss about the effects including medicinal effects of substances in some foods not necessarily too far from some others of already estupefacient and toxic nature. Its use nonetheless apparently leaves what are claimed to be permanent mind/brain modifications which obviously are undesirable. Many intellectuals of sorts having even taken it -BUT DO NOT TRY IT OUT, it damages, one can do things in imagination etc. with one´s own mind which are much better and do not damage, but maybe this is harder for boys, but not necessarily.
Weed or Marijuana, is a narcotic that when ingested (smoked or eaten) which alters our brain patterns, it can be used for medicinal purposes such as a pain killer for cancers, glaucoma, etc, but only in severe cases, contrary to some belief it is harmful to the average person and is a drug which is harmful to our bodies the same way that any other street, or recreational drug such as cocaine, speed, etc are. It also has harmful effects much the way smoking tobacco has, and yes it contains carcinogens when smoked. It should be avoided just as any other drug.
it is carcinogenic, much more so than tobacco and heresjohnny, it is not a narcotic, it is in the hallucinogenic drug class. Narcotics are drugs like morphine and heroin, stimulents are drugs such a cocaine and amphetimines and hallucinogens include drugs like cannabis and LSD.
