The best I can do is to point to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_contemporary_artists

They list a lot more artists than I’m familiar with, and have a bunch of different categories mixed in there…you didn’t mention performance art, painting, dance, etc, which it seems Wikipedia groups altogether in one big list. Hope this helps.
