Where to get free, virus-free music?

I’ve been looking for a good place to download free (or really cheap), virus-free music for awhile. I used to use Lime Wire and Frost Wire but since our computer crashed multiple times because of all te viruses it gave us my dad wont let me use those sites any more. Please help, does any one know any good sites?

Use torrents. You can download whole albums and there are far fewer viruses in torrents than there are floating around things like Limewire, Frostwire, Bearshare etc… The files are also usually good quality and correctly tagged, unlike a lot of the music that’s on Limewire.

I’ve never had a virus from any torrents. I’m not saying there aren’t any, obviously there will be some, but they’re not usually in music torrents… If you’re downloading things like software or keygens then you need to be careful.

You could also try blogspot, I use industrial-scum.blogspot.com sometimes, but there are loads of others for different types of music. Just type ‘’[artist/album/genre] blogspot’’ into Google. :)
