Where should I go isu or siue??? College help?
I have been accepted to both illinois state university and southern illinois university edwardsville. I can’t decide which one I want to go to. I live in normal, illinois so I am right next to isu. I kind of want a new experience, but at the same time I want the comfort of knowing my parents are right here if I need anything. My parents offered to buy me an apartment if I go to isu which is really nice but I dont know which university I would like better. Any recomendations?? Thank you!

I am an SIUE senior and I can give you some quick facts about down here. The school is in a very nice town. Probably the best one south of Springfield. St. Louis is only a 20 minute drive away. The school itself is undergrowing rapid growth. Between 2007 and 2012 there has been a new dorm built, a new student success center, a renovation and addition to the gym and fitness center, renovations of the sporting complexes, and there will be a new science building built within the next 2 years. It just started construction this semester. The school is hailed in decently high regards academically, especially for the senior assignment project which puts the school in the rankings of Duke, Yale, and MIT. It also ranked in the top one third of public and private universities in the midwest and also ranked in the top 10% of master’s degree offering public universities in the midwest.
