Where do santa letters go?

When you mail your letters, what does the mail office do to them? And how many are recieved a year? Does any one know?

when I was five, my mom made me write a letter to santa and he didn’t take it from our tree and she said, “I guess you were a terrible girl this year. You’re getting coal!” it was so mean.

My little brother works at UPS and he said they store them in a hudge room until the holidays are over, and then recycle them. He said you would not believe how big the room is where they are kept. Did you know in the early 1900’s the postal service tried to out- law Christmas Cards? At that time it was a huge burden for them…crazy huh?

Normally they get chucked at the post office.
