When should the price drop on the sims 3?

I really want to get the game but my dad says no more buying sims games. and my mom says wait until the price drop. anyone know or have an estimate when thats gonna happen?

I didnt like the sims 3. im kinda annoyed that I spent the money on it.. bummer

After a game is released it usually takes from 1 to 6 months for the price to drop to its lowest point depending on the popularity of the game.
