When should a male lab drop his testicals?

He is 6 months old and doesnt have his balls yet and I just wondered if this was normal.

Answer #1

It Isn’t Normal.. Take him into the vet. Well did you get him from a breeder? a shelter? Where did you get him? They MAY have already neutered him. -Dogluver.

Answer #2

No it is not normal…and if they don’t come down, his chances of testecular cancer go sky high. Get him in and get him neutered…

Answer #3

Typically 6 weeks-5 months.

It is possible to take up to about 9 months though.

If they havnt dropped by then or you are worried now I’d take him to a vet. It is possible that they are stuck and cannot drop and this sometimes requires surgery.
