the kitten should be tested for Felv or Fiv before you do anything. It may just be the food. I would use a milk replacer right now and after some time slowly intruduce food to her with the milk replacer on it until she is eating good then take out the replace and just give food. No animals should ever have ther food changed all of the sudden, it needs to be mixed for a couple of days then slowly decrease the food you are taking away until you have all new food left. Where did she come from? Was she dropped, hit by a car, She may be really sick. If kittens are not treated in time, they are a hard animal to turn around once infection sets in. If you can afford a vet, that is the best way to go. Start with the combo test, if that is negitive then do Stool check, she could have intestinal parsities. then have them check and for earmites, then vaccines and you will be off to a great start.

Answer #2

I have no clue … I don’t think they normally do that but I don’t know cause I don;t have a cat. try taking her to the vet and they should know what to do

Answer #3

It isnt normal, she’s still a baby and could get dehydrated very easily (which for a kitten could mean she could die). Stop the soft food if you think that is it. If she doesnt stop soon, she needs to go into to the vet ASAP

Answer #4

my cat does that, female kitten has to eat certain food, or she shits blood (kinda similar), give her hard food and maybe propper meat, if it doesnt work take her to the vets

Answer #5

Yeah the vet…

Answer #6

You should really take her to the vet. But if you want to try something else you can. Such

as:

  • try giving her different food
  • make sure shes getting the right amount of food
  • make sure shes not dehydrated ( to check lift up the skin on her neck if it goes down quickly thats good but if it slowly goes down shes dehydrated)

If she does not have the right amount of food she will get very sick and start throwing up

and having dierrea. It also could be worms or hairballs. Hope this helps!
