Can I get him to like me more?

He is really nice and is super fun to be around. he asked me out to hot chocolate a little while ago, but we havent hung out since but we still text a lot, but this past week he hasnt texted me at all, he said he was going to be busy for a little while but he threw a party and stuff. and my sister used my phone one day and was texting him a ton and then he got mad, because it said stuff like are you there? did i say something? and stuff like that, so he texted back saying– i’m freaking busy ok? – and then when i got my phone back and saw that, i texted him saying that was my sister and that i apologize.. now i really like him a lot!!! how do i get it back to where we were? and is there a way i could get him to like me more? i know you cant force anyone to like you but— Please HELP

You hit the nail on the head. You can’t force anyone to like you.

The whole, “it was my sister who texted you” thing is an ooooold story often told. No one every believes that one–even if it’s true. The best, absolute best thing you can possibly do at this point is to swallow your pride, and just move on. If a guy likes you, he’ll let you know. People don’t come out and say, “I used to like you but I lost interest”, they just suddenly go off your radar and hope you get the hint.

Because you like someone, it doesn’t mean that you should necessarily pursue it. This guy has already thrown a party without telling you and stopped calling. That is a huge big, enormous sign that says, “He’s Just Not That Into You.”

Sad story, but true. It happens to the best of us. Buy a new outfit and hopalong down the road.
