whats the difference from the non beta and the beta?
beta programs are still in the testing phase, so they are still trying to work out all the new kinks before they send it out as the official release. With firefox its an open beta, they let anyone get it and play with it. Then they get the bug reports back that tells them what happened when it crashed.
Beta version you can expect more bugs and issues that with the official release.
i use firefox 4 beta cus its the fastest thing in the world.
the differences are that the beta, in short, is still being built and has issues here and there.
theres still a few sites that i cant get on with foxy 4 but they are sorting them out pretty quick.
if your new to firefox go for the stable release 3.6.13..
If you do not have a ton of computer knowledge, or you do not want to deal with bug reports, I would never start with the Beta. I have a computer science degree and stopped using or recommending anything that was bleeding edge, and stay with tried and true.
I have Window Internet Explorer and I add Firefox. I use Firefox most of the time. Its safer and much easier to use. Plus no more stupid advertising. The add-on's help a lot.
he asked which firefox, not which firefox or google.........
