How do I dye my hair blonde?

I want to dye my hair blonde but am naturally a brunette and want to dye it blonde myself. How do I do that?

dying doesnt look very good i dont think so highlight work a lot better in my opinion buy a kit at walmart or something and if u wat to hight it then there will be a cap in there and you can pull ur hair throught the holes and just pretty much paint the dye on. there will be directions in the box
