What the difference between a Vampaneze and a vampire?

I heard that vampires and vampaneze are like cousins but I still don’t get what is a vampaneze. And what’s the difference between a vampire and a vampaneze?

Answer #1

Vampaneze is a term for a clan of vampires in the Cirque du Freak books who have their own customs distinct from common vampires. Specifically, they believe in killing their victims every time they feed. Their appearances are slightly different from regular vampires due to the excessive amounts of blood they consume, but in every other way, they are vampires by a different name.

Think of it like Catholics. They’re Christians, but with their own set of unique beliefs that set them apart from other denominations.

It should be noted that vampaneze are not part of traditional vampire folklore. They only exist in that series of young-adult novels.

Answer #2

The Vampires and Vampaneze were, at first, all Vampires.

Then, along came Desmond Tiny and instated Vampire Princes to lead all of the other Vampires. A few Vampires didn’t like this and this, on top of the fact that they wanted to kill those they drank from, led them to leave the Vampires forever.

These vampires became the Vampaneze.

Answer #3
