Nicholepearson, I suggest you pick a college you like (after visiting it) and see what the first two years brings to you. After that much time, your interests will move you in the correct direction for you. If you focus on only getting a high paying job, you have a high chance of being miserable for most of your working life. Find something you will enjoy doing for a long period of time. So many students think they can pick their job when thinking about school and the choices it brings. However, most people fall into their jobs after school. It could depend on what interviews you are able to get, the strength of the economy, and/or the geographical location you chose to live. So, be yourself and find something you like to do.
