What should I do with my Chinchilla?

Ok.. I’ve had my Chinchilla for maybe A month and a half.. I used to let her out when I first got her and she would never came back to her cage, so I have to chase her all over my room.. I’ve read that Chinchilla’s lose their trust in you when you chase them around.. I buy her all kinds of Toys and Chews.. This Chinchilla is spoiled!! Ok? Seems like after the 3rd week things were going well she would come to me and give me kisses, play with my hair, and just hop on my chest and stare at me.. Well all thats gone.. Something happend between the two of us.. It’s a nightmare! I try to give her massages under her neck she bites me, runs from me, when I hold her she instantly has a heavy heartbeat.. She’s scared of me!! When I sense this in her I get stressed out and she can sense it in me and flips out.. I try to Isolate her for about a day or 2 by putting a sheet over her cage but it never helps out her anxiety.. I look at her.. She looks sad.. I know I did something wrong in the process to scare her.. I want my little friend back.. Can someone help me? Please..

I know im gettin to yor post late but all I can say is me and my chillie started out great then it got kinda scared of me and ran away but all I did was sat in my room and played games and let him run around…he’d run arpund for hours and gradually got closer to me and now he is the most affectionate pet ever I would just suggest let them run around the room while you do something you enjoy to kill time and just let them gradually get re used to you :( best wishes

we had the same problem with your one though we adopted ours from pets at home.(we had it for a month) it would do everything for my mum, then when I decided to play with it, it would stand up and pee on me an would make loud noises at my dog until we decided that it was too much and gave it back x
