What's wrong with this game?

I just got Spore and I installed it. But it didn’t play, so I cleaned the disc and tried again. It still didn’t work. It’s brand new and doesn’t have any scratches. I then restarted the computer and tried again. Still didn’t work. I then uninstalled it and reintalled it but it still doesn’t work. I can’t even find it in “all programs” on the start menu. what’s going on and how can I make it work?

It’s happened to me,It’s told me to download DirectX9 or higher,then it proceeded to work.Otherwise…not sure.

O…I cnt help with that soz…its happened 2 me…mind out that you dont install it too many times, because there is a limated amount of times you can install it, because you dont need the disc 2 play the game :) I’ve kinda had the same problem because mine has only installed EA download manager! :(

do any other games install on your computer correctly???

ussually on the back of the case of the disk, it tells you the requirements to even be able to install it correctly or play it.

are you meeting those requirements?

if you are then most likely its a messed up disk, or your computer is not working right.

Ok, check to see if you have a folder called ‘Games’ when you open the start menu, if you do, click it and check there to see if Spore is there, if it is you can just double click the icon and the game should start up. =]
