My computer does not sound like it is running but the light is on…my display is black with a blue square shape of symbols…Can anyone help? I tried to reboot…I tried to unplug & replug in…

Just guessing but suspect the hard-drive may be shot - call a local computer store and ask, they’ll know…Take care !!

I’m not sure what could cause that to happen but, you might want to call your local computer shop and see what they say. Good luck.
