What is the legal age for a girl to have her own room?

She and divorced dad live in a one bedroom and she doesn’t want to sleep by her self. He would like to have full custody but need to know age that she need her own room.

Answer #1

If this parent is seeking custody, he can contact the social services department in his area to ask. But I can tell you that many states stipulate that parents and children of the opposite sex must sleep in separate rooms and beds. This is also true for siblings of the opposite sex. (EX: Mom and son must have their own room.”

Answer #2

There’s no legal age for a kid to have their own room. I think I understand what you’re saying, you think he may not get custody if they find out he doesnt have a bedroom for you? And that may be a valid concern for the courts… It really will depend. If you’re wondering the age this becomes a serious concern, 12-13 is it…

Answer #3

there is no age limit for someone to have there own room in a house it usually depends on the parents rules but you can have your own room at any age there are no laws preventing it
