What is the best job ever?

So, I’m 16 and still trying to find the best job ever, well, what I say is the job that I’m gonna love, I want to become a nurse or an interior decorator because I’m very creative and I love taking care of people. And sometimes I wanna be a nurse, interior decorator, crime investigator, lawyer, etc…

So, what do you do for a living? what did you have to do for the first few years of your career? How long did you have to study?

Thanks! XOXO Kristyn

yeah that’s what I wanna be is an RN but again was just wondering what every one else does for a life time…

You are too young to know what you want to do really. I did some really crappy jobs for a long time to realize what I really wanted to do. Might help you out if you do the same?

I am not very helpful, but I just quit my job Saturday as a cook. Don’t ever be one of those! But with the economy and all being a nurse is probably your best bet. According to family and friends they love being a RN and it’s good cash and benefits. It takes 4 years.

RN should take a little more than 4 years with premed and then nursing school. Maybe I am thinking of a different one. There are so many levels for nurses these days, all of which require different levels of schooling.

Medical is a great field to go into for sure, but honestly I don’t trust universal healthcare very much. I think medical field pay could go down, or stay stagnant long enough to affect someone like you. This may or not be the case where you live. I live in the US. Personally I work in engineering. I am not an engineer yet, I do recommend you get a degree.

From my experience the world employs a ton of mechanical engineers. In this modern age electrical engineering is becoming more and more popular. If I can tell you one thing about both of them it is that there are not enough females out there doing the job. Where I work we have 4 females in the office who work in/with engineering and two of them are administrative assistants. My division alone has 13 people in it if you include the AA. From a company balance perspective women are desired in this field. Plus, like some medical jobs, if you want to find a job for travel you can, if you want to stay in one small area you can. Engineering jobs do require a little travel at least though. Engineering is usually a 4 year degree, though seems a lot of US universities make it a 5 year one.
