What is Love

this is a poem that I wrote right after mym 4 years of high school. I’d like someone’s opinion (mainly a guy’s) so let me know what you think.

What is Love?

For what is love Is it a new beginning to shine happiness Or is it a fearful sword that will permanently slice your heart in two For everyone it’s an experience of either one or both.

However, I experienced the terrible My heart’s in two, unable to be stitched back together Because of love’s sometimes evil force Guys are cruel, mean, selfish, and a lot of other stuff.

For what is love I don’t know the meaning The only people who haved loved me truly are my family But I don’t see them often.

For what is love Is it the work of God, the sweet, caring person Or is it the work of Satan The cruel and unusual?
