Is he really suicidal?

Okay well, my boyfriend and I have been together for seven months and things are great now. But everytime something goes wrong or I say something he doesnt want to hear he just threatens to kill himself. he’ll hang up the phone and I’ll call him a few times and then he’ll answer and I’ll have to spend hours trying to cheer him up. Its so annoying. Everytime something goes wrong this happens. But he never does it so… I don’t know. I just get so tired of hearing it all the time that sometimes I dont try running back to him and helping him. Then he just threatens to do it more and makes me feel horrible for it. Is he really suicidal or does he just want attention?

it sounds like he wants attention…I would be like then do it…I’ve done it to all my “suicidal” friends and not one of them will do it…next time tell him you are sick of him saying shit like that and to stop being a pussy and learn to be happy with you or youll leave…you shouldnt have to be in the position

well,this is just my opinion,to me,it just sounds the your boyfriend just wants your attention,cause if he was really sucidial then he wouldnt keep threatening to do it every time you do something he isnt happy with,he just seems that he just needs your attention,but I dont know him,so its kinda hard to give you a satisfying answer,I’m just giving you my opinion from what you wrote,hope this helps

Yeah, Chocice pretty much nailed it. He’s Not really suicidal, if he was going to do it, he’d do it. He’s just being a manipulative creep and is scared he’ll lose you.

The only answer to this is see if he’s mental or there’s a lot of pressure on him or sum one loves. If not he’s just doing it for ur attention
