Here are a couple of ideas for what to call your girlfriend in Spanish:

  • Cariño (sweetie or sweetheart),
  • Reina (queen)
  • Princessa (princess)
  • Vida (life)
  • Cielo (heaven)
  • mariposa (butterfly)
  • corazon (heart)

If I think of more, I’ll post them too.

Well, I’ve called my wife “amor” (love) and “querida” (beloved / wanted, refers to female due to it’s being an adjective) over the years…you didn’t really say what kind of thing you wanted to call her :)

You could call her “gata” (female cat) or “liona” (female lion)…but, “perra” (female dog) is one to definitely stay away from.
