Is a diploma enough for me finding a web development job?

I am currently studying Web Development at Douglas College. I really like the program, but I am a little bit concerned about the job opportunities of Web Development area. I know if I participate in a co-op program, it will enlarge my chance of finding a job. Originally I am planning to transfer to SFU or BCIT, but, after some research, I found out SFU’s computer program is very theory driven, and BCIT only has a part time Web Development program. So I am wondering if the Douglas College Web Development Diploma is enough for me to find a web development job? Besides co-op program, is there any other methods can enlarging my chance of finding the job? Thank you for your time and patient.
