Always prepared for the worst

If you’re always prepared for the wost, does that mean you’re not expecting anything good to happen?

Answer #1

no the saying is prepare for the worst, hope for the best

Answer #2

I try to think that there are all possible outcomes. I try not to have expectations, either good or bad. I usually just think “it is what it is” and try to make the best out of every situation.

Answer #3

I always carry a first aid pack around with me..including saline sachets, steri-strips, plasters, a tubi-grip, 2x packs of gauze, pair of surgical dispoasable scissors and some anti-sceptic / anstetic cream, - just in case (it’s in a tiny box)

doesn’t mean I’m EXPECTING anything to happen, but it’s just in case it does…it’s always there, always ready, so I don’t even think about it…
