What I want

I really want to adopt a Cairn terrier. I haven’t been around that breed much and was wondering if anyone has one and if you could tell me a little more about the breed and your experiences.

There is great info on the internet about them, I lived with one for a short time (ex boyfriends dog) and she was very sweet, but I would read about the negitive and postive.

I never had a Cairn Terrier, but did have a Westhighland Terrier…and they are very similar…They can be stubborn, and they certainly like to dig…but personality wise, they are smart as little whips…sweet dogs, who bond very tightly to their people. Have to professionally groom them, however.

My little Molly…she died at 14 1/2 this last September…she was a wonderful dog!
