What games should I play with a Budgie?

I am going to buy a budgie when my Grandfather can move back to his own house in GA. (it’s a long story.) I know there are advantages and disadvantages of buying one or two budgies, but I decided that just one fits my needs best. So, what are some good games to play to keep him happy and entertained? And what should I do when I’m not at home? I doubt he’ll be lonely very much, since I’m homeschooled and I have five siblings who are all so good with animals. The only other pet I have is a Yorkshire Terrier. I did have a hamster but he just passed away very recently. So yeah, thanks in advance!

Make sure you hold and play with your bird quite often to get him used to being handled. I’ve had a couple parakeets over the years and I never made a bond with any of them. They would squawk and flutter around every time I put my hand in the cage and they weren’t very friendly. Taming them from a young age is essential.
